Building with an agent

Three clips, recorded back to back. The first two are building something and then using it. The third is the part that matters more — what happens when the same agent needs to reach outside the chat.

One sentence in — create an app to play space invaders — and the build runs in front of you.

You describe the thing in the box and the agent builds it. The routing line is visible while it works, and the card lands in the workspace when it is done. No project setup, no scaffold, no repository.

The card opens and the thing runs — Neon Invaders, played on the spot.

Then you open the card and play it. That is the whole loop for the first kind of ask: a sentence, a build, a working thing in front of you.

Back in the workspace, a different kind of ask — read a note off the machine and do something with it.

The next ask is not a build. It is: read a note that lives on this Mac, take the content, and work on it. That needs two things the chat does not have on its own — the notes themselves, and the machine.

It asks before it reaches

Watch what the agent does when it hits the edge of what it is allowed to do: it stops and asks. Consult the apple-notes brain. Connect to this Mac — screen, mouse, and keyboard. You grant or you decline, per capability, and the run continues either way. The permission is not buried in a settings page you agreed to once — it is asked at the moment it is needed, for the thing it is needed for.

That is the part we want people to look at. Building is the demo everyone records. An agent that reaches into your machine only after you say yes, one capability at a time, is the thing that decides whether any of this belongs anywhere near a company.

More of this as it gets built, on camera.
