Company automation series, part 1

Prospecting clients w/ email

Hint: watch the videos at 2x speed

The first job we hand to the agent is finding new clients. It all starts from one note. The agent gets a mailbox, a memory and a written brief, and it brings back a lead every morning.

1 · The brief

Everything the agent needs is written in one note. It names the Gmail connector and a brain, then lists three steps: create a brain linked to an Apple Notes lead log, connect email, and run a prompt template. The template asks for one B2B lead for Tunbru. It explains what Tunbru sells, then how to pick and rank leads: real, named private companies across sixteen markets, ranked by headroom, with competitors left out.

2 · Connecting the mailbox

The note gets a final edit, then we go to the setup. Under Connectors, you connect a service once and every agent can act on it: Google Drive is already live, and Gmail is one click away. The brain shows up as a knowledge source that agents can use.

3 · The brain

The brain is the agent's memory for this job. Under Browse, it lists the synced content the agent will read before it searches. Then it's back to the note, ready to run.

4 · The first lead

The rest of the brief tells the agent to learn from past calls in an Apple Notes log, what to collect for each lead, and to send the result as a templated HTML email. Then the note goes to the Orchestrator with the browser on and approvals off. The agent searches the web and finds a global AI consulting firm that fits. It uses Gmail and the brain, and adds the lead at the top of the “approach leads” note.

5 · One lead a day

What worked once now goes on a schedule. In Loops, the task becomes One-lead-a-day: an agent that runs Monday to Friday at 09:00, Lisbon time, until you switch it off. It runs in Normal speed mode. Create & Start, and the loop is in the list, waiting for its first morning.

One note, one connector, one brain: prospecting becomes something that happens every morning, and you only read the email.
